How the Museum of Life works
A public guide to what this citywide life record counts, how it is updated, and where its boundaries lie.
What is counted
The museum presents the citywide population, births, completed lives, and public life-relationship records already held by the archive. It does not estimate or invent missing events.
Time and updates
Every archived moment is shown in Cat City Time (CCT) and, in the browser, as the visitor’s corresponding local time. Today and Timeline refresh every 60 seconds. If a refresh briefly fails, the latest complete result remains visible.
Resident records and relationships
Public records can include a life ordinal, formal name, birth nickname, and an available genealogy page. Current relationships, historical facts, and biological kinship remain distinct: a shared-parent fact is never treated as proof of a current marriage.
Data boundaries
The Museum of Life is not a medical-record system. It does not publish private clinical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, health files, or other sensitive medical data.
Public data is provided through the Medical Department’s existing life archive and the applicable civil registry records.
